University of Wisconsin Opthamology

This second phase of medical office tenant build out consolidated the clinic’s opthamology practice to 10,700 SF in a single facility. Included are exam rooms with special light control, a retail eyewear store, and exceptionally designed laser (Lasik) surgery suite rooms. The Laser surgery suites required analysis of the building’s structural system to virtually eleiminate vibrations from outside forces during surgeries. Besides locating the area in the most strategic location for structure, reinforcements were completed and vibration dampening underlayments were used to ensure patients’ protection during the delicate procedures.
The project was completed 5% under budget and within the schedule outlined from inception.
