Safety Achievements
Tri-North recognizes the importance of an effective and comprehensive safety program, not only for our potential work place accidents, but also for employees and visitors. We take a proactive approach when it comes to Safety and Health. We actively train our superintendents and foremen on the OSHA standards, general liability and affirmative action issues. Our safety director performs safety inspections and on-site training for job specific situations. This reduces injuries, saves on lost time injuries and helps our employees grow and become safer workers.
Since Tri-North Builders has been in business, we have had an outstanding Safety and Health record, as shown below. While the national average for safety ratings is 1.0, Tri-North is well below this average, making our jobsites safer environments.
Our role on each project
Tri-North's full-time Safety Director, Steve Bachofen, is involved in every project from the very beginning through the final closeout. Steve's initial responsibility includes reviewing the site with Tri-North's project manager, superintendent, owner, and architect to become familiar with any unique needs. During and after this survey, our team will put together an assessment of how to address those needs.
At that point, Tri-North Builders' efforts to monitor safety are just beginning. Steve and our superintendent will continue to modify safety requirements throughout the project. With many years of experience, our team is committed to providing the safest possible site and facility.
