Tri-North Honored with Heart of Gold Award
MILWAUKEE, WI - Tri-North Builders will be honored by Variety the Children’s Charity at their Gala on November 6, 2009. Variety the Children’s Charity is dedicated to improving the quality of life and opportunities available to disabled and disadvantaged children in Wisconsin. Their mission is to fund as many possibilities for Wisconsin children challenged by physical disability or disadvantaged circumstances.
This summer, Variety teamed up with Tri-North Builders to renovate a 1926 home, making it wheelchair accessible for a West Allis boy after a tragic accident.
Tri-North Builders is a national construction company that was founded in Wisconsin in 1981. They led a team of 10 subcontractors by donating supplies, money, and labor to get the home up to code. For their efforts, Variety the Children’s Charity has chosen to honor Tri-North Builders with their Heart of Gold Award.
The Heart of Gold Award is given annually to individuals and businesses that go above and beyond in showing support for Variety the Children’s Charity through volunteer efforts or monetary donations.
The family will also be present at the Gala to give their thanks for all that Tri-North Builders and Variety the Children’s Charity has done for them. The Gala will be held at Milwaukee’s historic Pfister Hotel on November 6 and is an invitation-only event.
